More than two-thirds of Americans are taking at least one prescription drug, and more than half drink alcohol on a regular basis. These habit-forming substances can cause serious problems with health, jobs, relationships, and the law.

During this conversation, we’ll focus on how to address substance abuse before it takes over. As a community, how can we help Colorado’s youth avoid the negative impacts of substance abuse?

This event is open to anyone. It’s free and we’ll provide snacks to participants.

District leadership asked the Poudre Think Tank, a student advisory group, to dive into substance abuse among young people. Information collected will help to inform future efforts to prevent and address substance abuse in the schools.

This event is made possible through a partnership with the Colorado Department of Transportation. CDOT launched it’s CannabisConversation campaign in February and aims to learn more about drugged driving behavior. Give your input on drugged driving at ColoradoCannabisConvo.com.
