The CPD report on the Platte River Power Authority Community Forums that were held in March is now posted. The report has been provided to PRPA Board of Directors. The next board meeting is scheduled for July 30. At this point, it is unclear whether that meeting will be in person or virtual. The board has also decided to not finalize the IRP until they have a chance to deliberate together face to face (which may occur July 30th or potentially not until August 27). Visit the PRPA website for the IRP process for more information, and comments can be directed to PRPA through this email: IRP2020@prpa.org
March 11 update: the Fort Collins Community Focus Group has been canceled due to concerns related to COVID-19. For more information about this decision, please click here to view the press release from Platte River Power Authority
Online Engagement Option – survey will close at the end of the day on Tuesday, March 24.
An online engagement option has been developed as an alternative due to the cancellation of the Fort Collins forum on March 12. To participate in the online option, please watch this video first that explains the process. It is drawn primarily from the opening presentation at the community focus groups. After watching the video, the survey is available here (now closed, questions or comments can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org). The documents mentioned in the video and used during the community focus group process include:
- The four page placemat document with the four portfolios (the primary document used at the event and in the survey). At the event, this document was one 11×17 page, but to make printing easier, we adjusted it to be a 4 page document using letter sized paper. The necessary text from this document is embedded in the survey to facilitate your responses.
- A 2 page glossary document with some key terms defined.
- The Powerpoint from the introduction.
- The 2018 Platte River Resource Diversification Policy.
