The CPD report on the Platte River Power Authority Community Forums that were held in March is now posted. The report has been provided to PRPA Board of Directors. The next board meeting is scheduled for July 30. At this point, it is unclear whether that meeting will be in person or virtual. The board has also decided to not finalize the IRP until they have a chance to deliberate together face to face (which may occur July 30th or potentially not until August 27). Online Engagement Option  – survey will close at the end of the day on Tuesday, March 24.

An online engagement option has been developed as an alternative due to the cancellation of the Fort Collins forum on March 12. To participate in the online option, please watch this video first that explains the process. It is drawn primarily from the opening presentation at the community focus groups. After watching the video, the survey is available here (now closed, questions or comments can be sent to cpd@colostate.edu). Information Regarding the Community Focus Groups

Platte River Power Authority and the CSU Center for Public Deliberation invite you to participate in a community focus group session that will be taking place in Platte River’s owner communities of Estes Park, Fort Collins, Longmont and Loveland. These sessions will foster discussion on how Platte River should pursue a noncarbon energy future.
