The City of Fort Collins is currently engaging local community members around the 2023-2024 budget which will be adopted by City Council later this year. They have partnered with the Center for Public Deliberation on the Community Guide program, which will train individuals in facilitation, meeting design, data collection, and provide information about how the budget process works. We are currently looking for passionate community members who would like to receive this training! The Community Guide program is a way for us to empower you with the skills needed to host conversations about important issues in your own community.
Guides who are selected into the program will attend a four-hour training session which will equip them with all the tools they need to host conversations about the city’s budget.
